Join Martyn Phillips CEO of WRU at Pembrokeshire Lunch

Join the Pembrokeshire Four Seasons Business Lunch at Wolfscastle Country Hotel, Haverfordwest on Thursday 29 March 2018 12pm for a 1pm lunch with guest speaker Martyn Phillips.

Martyn was appointed as WRU Group Chief Executive in July 2015 and took up the post in the autumn of the same year. He is a Director of British Lions and Celtic Rugby, and is a member of the Council of the Six Nations.

The Welsh Rugby Union Strategy is the result of wide ranging research and consultation throughout the game in Wales during Martyn’s first 12 months in office. It defines the stated purpose of Welsh Rugby as ‘More People, More Often, with More Enjoyment and More Success’.

Martyn was formerly CEO of B&Q, the £4bn home improvement giant. He joined Kingfisher plc in 1994 and held a number of senior management roles in the company until he left B&Q in 2014.Whilst at school he won Wales international caps at U15 level and was a member of the Welsh Schools Under 18 squad before going on to represent Welsh Colleges.
