Responsible business practice is at the forefront of everything we do. Our commitment to supporting the communities in which we operate is an important part of our culture.
From the arts and grass root sports sponsorship to professional cricket, football and rugby, Thomas Carroll aims to make a difference locally by supporting local people, groups and charities.
In 2019, the Thomas Carroll Charitable Trust was set up to support individuals, smaller charities and other community initiatives in our local areas.
As well as supporting Group charities, Tŷ Hafan and Velindre, we select designated charities on an annual basis and regularly host fundraising events. We also donate a percentage of our annual profits.

On a Mission for Tŷ Hafan
Whilst celebrating Thomas Carroll’s 40th anniversary we proudly raised £80,000 for Tŷ Hafan Hospice for Young Lives.
The cast, made up of our employees, celebrated 40 years in business by going back to 1972 and becoming The Insurers; a charity fundraising outfit modelled on famous 1970s crime-fighting TV shows such as The Protectors and The Persuaders.
We initially set out to raise £40,000 for Tŷ Hafan for our 40th birthday but through the fundraising efforts of our employees and the generosity of our families, friends, clients and business contacts, we doubled it!
