We are proud to announce that Thomas Carroll Chairman, John Moore, received the Industry Achiever Award at the Insurance Times Awards 2018. Held at the 5-star InterContinental O2 hotel in London this year, the awards recognise the excellence and achievements across the UK insurance industry.
John joined Thomas Carroll in 1980. He is past President of the Chartered Institute of Insurance in Cardiff, the Broker Regional Chairman for BIBA and he presently sits on the UK Faculty of Insurance Brokers Board. In 2014, John received his MBE from Prince William at Windsor Castle. Winning the prestigious Industry Achiever Award reflects John’s dedication to insurance broking and his contribution to raising the standards of professionalism within the industry.
Here is what John had to say to Insurance Times about his win:
“They’ll be singing back home in the valleys of Wales. It was totally unexpected. It’s remarkable being alongside so many famous high achievers in the room. Thomas Carroll has had a love affair with them for a number of years, and it’s a credit to the whole company really, and I’m very privileged to be their Chairman.”
