Account Broker - Credit

 

We are currently looking to recruit an Account Broker to join our Credit  team in Caerphilly.

Summary of main responsibilities and activities

  • Review management information and reports as necessary, ensuring that the appropriate action is taken
  • Advise line manager of any current, potential or perceived problems with insurer markets or service providers
  • Interaction with prospects and clients to collect and collate information in respect of new business enquiries, renewals and mid-term adjustments
  • Preparation of presentations and submissions to insurers and suppliers
  • Negotiate policy terms, conditions, premium and income
  • Review market results, analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research, to make suitable insurer and product recommendations and demonstrate competency by explaining the extent of cover
  • Production and presentation of new business quotation and renewal terms
  • Provide advice to clients and prospects on an ongoing basis in respect of current insurance policies and additional insurance products for consideration
  • Arrange cover to comply with the client instructions
  • Process new business, renewal and mid-term adjustments efficiently, effectively and in accordance with FCA and Thomas, Carroll procedures
  • Check all documentation for accuracy before issuing to clients or appropriate parties
  • Review management information and reports as necessary, ensuring that the appropriate action is taken
  • Debt management work to ensure premiums and fees are collected and allocated appropriately and keep line manager informed of any current, potential or perceived problems with bad debts
  • Assist the Finance Team with any accounting queries, the allocation of cash received and settlement of accounts
  • Maintain accurate client and prospect records
  • Build good working relationships with insurers, clients and prospects
  • Assist colleagues in the completion of their duties
  • Direct leads to other companies within the Thomas, Carroll Group
  • Undertake and participate in work as requested by the company Directors, Head of Commercial, Head of Credit and Senior Account Manager

Claims Executive

We are currently looking to recruit a Claims Executive to join our team in Caerphilly.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years  claims handling experience gained from within an insurance brokerage or company and will be qualified to Certificate level with the Chartered Insurance Institute or working towards this qualification. The successful candidate will also need to be competent in property and liability claims management.

Summary of main responsibilities and activities:

  • Assist clients with claims and cover enquiries and submit claims to insurers within timescales, ensuring that the claim comes to a satisfactory conclusion, efficiently and within TC procedures – with responsibility for both commercial and private clients.
  • Responsible for checking the validity of claims before submission to insurers
  • Ensure that all required documentation is made available for the speedily resolution of the claim
  • Negotiate interim payments with loss adjusters and insurers as appropriate
  • Ensure claims estimates and reserves are up to date and review periodically with insurers
  • Preparation of claims reports to executives, clients and insurers
  • Review management information and reports as necessary, ensuring that the appropriate action is taken by the broking team
  • Maintain accurate client and prospect records

Risk Services Coordinator

We are currently looking to recruit a Risk Services Coordinator to join our team in Caerphilly.

We are looking for a candidate that is familiar and confident with completing diary management and using varying computer systems on a daily basis.

Employees must support the company business plan, mission statement, values and goals

Summary of main responsibilities and activities:

  • Assisting with the day to day running and operational functioning of the Risk Services team
  • Updating company data on the Acturis client data base and Risk Services client files
  • Coordinating and supporting of Head of Risk Services and Risk Services team diary management and client appointments
  • Assisting the Head of Risk Services to monitor the utilisation of consultant’s workloads
  • Co-ordinating Risk Services Consultants’ workloads between external and internal resources
  • Assisting the Risk Services Director and Head of Risk Services to monitor and coordinate Associate Consultant expenditure and authorisation of payment
  • Managing and co-ordinating the preparation of all documentation associated with the client service proposition
  • Checking all documentation for quality and accuracy before issuing to clients or appropriate parties
  • Coordinating and maintaining accreditation and licences required by the Risk Services team
  • Administering new clients on the T100 on-line health and safety management system
  • Notifying Care First (external Wellbeing provider) of new clients and sending relevant information to clients.
  • Coordinating open and in-house training courses with clients and liaising with external bodies such as IOSH, where appropriate
  • Preparing course materials and issuing certificates for classroom training courses
  • Enrolling and coordinating clients on eLearning training courses
  • Notifying ARAG (external Insurance provider) of new clients and sending relevant documentation to Clients
  • Assisting the Head of Risk services to monitor consultant utilisation levels and task lists
  • Maintain accurate client records
  • Coordinating and maintaining good working relationships with clients and prospects
  • Assisting the Director of Risk Services with any new business or client service renewal queries, as required
  • Assisting the Risk Services team and wider Thomas Carroll colleagues in the completion of their duties, as required
