Private Client Claims Executive

We are currently looking to recruit a Private Client Claims Executive to join our team in Caerphilly. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience of working in an insurance company, insurance broking or claims function dealing with private motor, household and travel insurance products.

Summary of the main responsibilities and activities:

• Assist clients with claims and cover enquiries and submit claims to insurers within timescales, ensuring that the claim comes to a satisfactory conclusion, efficiently and within our working procedures
• Responsible for checking the validity of claims before submission to insurers, ensuring that all required documentation is made available for the speedy resolution of the claim
• Negotiate interim payments with loss adjusters and insurers as appropriate
• Ensure claims estimates and reserves are up to date and review periodically with insurers
• Preparation of claims reports to relevant personnel, clients and insurers
• Review management information and reports as necessary ensuring that the appropriate action is taken by the broking team
• Maintain accurate client and prospect records
• Direct leads to other companies within the Thomas Carroll Group
• Undertake and participate in work-related projects as requested

Employee Benefits Coordinator

We are currently looking to recruit an Employee Benefits Coordinator to join our team in Caerphilly.

It will be necessary for the candidate to have financial services experience.

Summary of main responsibilities and activities:

• Interaction with prospects and clients to collect and collate information in respect of new business enquiries, renewals and mid-term adjustments
• Preparation of presentations and submissions to insurers and providers
• Negotiate policy terms, conditions, premium and income
• Review market results, analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable insurer and product recommendations and demonstrate competency by explaining the extent of cover
• Production and presentation of new business quotation and renewal terms
• Provide information to clients and prospects on an ongoing basis in respect of current policies and additional products for consideration
• Arrange cover to comply with the client instructions
• Process new business, renewal and mid-term adjustments efficiently, effectively and in accordance with FCA and Thomas, Carroll procedures
