The Hero – A tribute to the armed forces

7 Nov

Thomas Carroll are proud to support ‘The Hero’. The single, written and produced by married writers, Daniel and Laura Curtis from South Wales, is a tribute to servicemen and women around the world.

Daniel and Laura decided that they wanted to do something to raise money for this cause after meeting some true heroes and their families while they attended the 2016 Invictus Games in Florida. Originally, the song was only going to feature a handful of their friends starring in the West End, but the project grew to include many more artists as well as a number of Hollywood stars, such as Sir Paul McCartney, Bryan Cranston, Judi Dench, Henry Cavill, Whoopy Goldberg and Jack Black.

The song, which is about the journey of a female recruit, was released on 3rd November 2018 and coincides with the commemorations surrounding the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One.

‘The Hero – A West End & Friends Tribute’ is now available to order. All proceeds from the digital sales of the single will be donated to Help for Heroes. You can watch the single’s video here.

Everyone at Thomas Carroll would like to say a big congratulations to Daniel and Laura Curtis for this amazing achievement and wish them the very best of luck with the release of ‘The Hero’.
