We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Nia Rogers as Head of Employee Benefits, affirming the success of our Employee Benefits division to date and our plan to grow this area of the Thomas Carroll Group in the coming years.
In a career that spans 25 years, Nia has worked with the likes of Alexander Forbes, Punter Southall and most recently Capita and has a wealth of knowledge in the Employee Benefits sector. Reflecting on her appointment, Nia said:
“I joined Thomas Carroll as it is a forward-thinking company that puts its employees and customers first. I believe that if you’re not moving forward as a company, you’re moving backwards, and Thomas Carroll is certainly moving in the right direction.”
“I look forward to enhancing our Employee Benefits proposition and building on our ability to provide a great service and clear solutions to the challenges of our clients. I am also looking forward to working closely with our Wealth Management team and the other divisions within the Group.”
Nia will help clients develop and implement bespoke benefit offerings, which is key to employee retention. She said:
“Educating employees about the benefits available to them will help attract and retain the best employees, as companies of all sizes are constantly under pressure to ensure they have the strongest talent within their business.”
Nia also has her sights set on educating young individuals in the workplace to encourage them to think about the future. She said:
“We have a key role in educating young employees by helping to get them engaged in saving for their futures. The younger an individual takes interest and ownership of their retirement, the earlier they can start enjoying it. Education starts in the workplace and financial education is imperative so that pensions aren’t seen as something only for more senior employees.”
Commenting on the appointment, Mark Eedy, Managing Director of Thomas Carroll Independent Financial Advisers said:
“We’re so excited to have Nia on board and look forward to building on the success of our Employee Benefits division. More and more employers understand that an attractive employee benefits package, that includes a robust health and wellbeing offering, is highly sought after by workers in our modern-day society.”
“Our package is designed to help business’ attract and retain the best talent. Nia’s extensive experience and passion for putting clients first makes her a great fit for our team as we continue to grow across Wales and beyond.”
