Director’s Challenge: We Need Your Help

3 Aug

To help mark our 50th birthday we are on a mission to raise as much money as possible for charity. So far we’ve climbed mountains, ran marathons, and have even walked on fire! To help us with our fundraising journey, Thomas Carroll directors have agreed to take on the ultimate superhero-style challenge.

To make this exciting, the more money we raise the more outrageous the challenge will be!

We have come up with 5 challenges, the first being a ‘challenge’ but nothing too scary and the last being the ultimate (and funniest) challenge we could think of.

Challenge 1
Walking challenge – funds needed £2,500

Cover the distance of our regional footprint. Walking virtually from Haverfordwest to  London, the 240 miles will need to be covered by the team in 48 hours.

Challenge 2
Sumo-suit football competition – funds needed £5,000

Watch our directors split into two teams as they undertake a charity football match with a difference.

Challenge 3
Muddy assault course completion – funds needed £7,500

We have sourced the muddiest course possible. Watch our team make their way over, under, and through the course of terror!

Challenge 4
Abseil from the Newport Transporter Bridge – funds needed £10,000

A sheer 150ft free-hanging abseil, overlooking the River Usk and Severn Estuary!

Challenge 5
‘I’m a Director, Get me Out of Here’  – funds needed £15,000

Eating challenge – hosted by our very own version of Ant & Dec, watch our Directors dine out like never before! Help us create the most horrific dining experience possible!

We have until November 2022 to reach our target of £15,000!
