Busy lifestyles often mean that people have expectations outside of the 9-5 business hours. We understand that an accident can happen any time of the day, which is why we are pleased to introduce our new Thomas Carroll Claims App.
Available on iOS and Android devices, our Claims App gives Thomas Carroll business and personal insurance clients a 24/7 platform to report a claim. Without being dependent on a laptop, you have the convenience of reporting a claim on the roadside, when it happens. Reporting incident details, from the time and location of the accident to whether there are any injuries is quick and efficient with a purposefully simple set of questions to guide you at often a worrying time. You can even take and upload photos of any damage and your surroundings, for example road markings, to support your claim. GPS captures your accurate location and if you don’t have phone signal, the information you have submitted is stored and the notification sent when you’re next in range.
After being submitted, our Claims team will receive your notification and will notify Insurers immediately if within business hours, and the next working day if outside of business hours. You will also have the option to send information to Thomas Carroll’s out of hours partner, Auto Legal Protection Services (ALPS). Prompt notification of an incident allows our Claims team to act quickly, which in turn keeps the cost of the claim down and mitigates the impact on your premium.
Here is what Head of Claims at Thomas Carroll, Helen Love had to say about the launch of our Claims App:
“Everyone knows that time is of the essence at claim time and with our busy lifestyles, finding the time to sit down and complete forms, send photos and notify your Insurer can be a challenge.
We are always looking for ways to improve our claims service and are proud to announce that as the first broker in Wales to launch a claims app, we are reinforcing our commitment to our clients to be ‘With You Every Step of the Way’.
Research shows that the average time it takes for a Policyholder to notify a motor claim is 23 days. It also reports that 65% of claims are reported by the third party. These statistics have a significant impact on the cost of a claim, the price of which is often passed onto the Policyholder at renewal.
The Thomas Carroll Claims App can improve this. It is specifically designed for day 1 roadside reporting. Once the driver submits a report, it is received at Thomas Carroll or Insurers and if required, your own fleet manager for their immediate or next day action.
With our clients’ interests to the fore, we believe our Claims App along with 24/7 emergency assistance provided by our partner ALPS, is a win win!”
Contact our Claims team on 02920 853788 or at email@example.com today to get access to the Thomas Carroll Claims App. We will issue you, the policy holder with a license prior to you downloading the app.
