Provided you seek and follow advice from our crisis communication helpline, following an event which causes your business significant adverse publicity or reputational damage which is likely to have a widespread financial impact, we will:
• Liaise with you and your solicitor to draft a media statement or press release, and/or
• Arrange, support and represent you at a press conference, and/or
• Prepare communication for your customers and/or a telephone or website script
A number of exclusions apply to our crisis communication support including:
• Legal costs and expenses in excess of £10,000
• Matters that should be dealt with through your normal complaints procedures

In order for the legal assistance to apply you must inform us immediately if you become aware of any cause, event or circumstance which could give rise to a claim.
In addition, a number of exclusions also apply to our legal assistance which include any incident relating to:
• Fines, penalties or compensation awarded against you
• Assault, violence or dishonesty
• Costs incurred before you notify us
• Anything which you knew about before becoming a client

All our consultants are qualified members of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) or the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health (RSPH).
